No, however I use air pods so I can listen to music while I’m riding. I have only been doing this for the last 12 months and it has made my riding even more enjoyable.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺/𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲
Born in Maroubra, then 12 years later moved to South Coogee. Moved to Randwick just before I got married in 1989, then built a house in South Coogee, one block from my childhood home. As you can see I’m quite boring and not that adventurous !

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 / 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Wangaratta 100%, so much fun, especially the Alpine Way to Jindabyne and the road from Jindabyne to Charlottes Pass. However closer to home most of our rides are amazing as I get to see parts of Sydney I’ve never been too. I have also been enlightened to these amazing new coffee stops and bakeries along the way. Apparently you can never have too many scones, donuts or curry pies !

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴
The reason why I bought a scooter in the first place was it was getting harder and harder to find a parking spot at the beach and I can’t stand paying for parking (I’m a cheapskate). So Trishy (the boss) said I should get a scooter. She only had to say this once !
Joining the group in 2022 and going on the group rides has helped immensely. Everyone has been very helpful in giving tips if asked. Ryan is also great, making sure we are all safe, teaching us how to ride in a staggered formation, blocking traffic when needed, only riding to the pace of our slowest rider, identifying hazards, staying to the left when riding near Pie in the Sky and Road Warriors etc.
Both Ryan and Sharne are so welcoming and everyone I’ve met in the club is super friendly.
As Libby said last month it’s great that I have a new set of friends from all walks of life and all over Sydney. Well said Lib !

Shortly after joining the club we rode to Budgewoi, which destroyed my bottom. As soon as I got home I went online and bought a ‘whoopi-cushion’ and a pair of gel undies. I can’t recommend them enough !

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗖𝗟 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Without a doubt spending nine days with a great bunch of people riding to Wangaratta and back ! The Lago di Mac ride last year was a close second and getting to know some of the Vespardo riders from Wollongong.
