Let’s meet Michelle,

One of VCL’s newest lady members, Michelle has made her presence known with her super long ponytail and her infectious laugh.

Michelle will be joining other VCL members at the end of Feb as they head south to Victoria and onwards to ride the Great Ocean Rd.

I have had my licence forever, but I got my Vespa in April 2024.

𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗲𝘁.

Fresh ingredients..home cooked…. Vegetables… soups and pasta. Oh and some chocolate 😉

I am originally from Melbourne and now live on the north shore in Sydney.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 / 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Oh gosh… I always enjoy a long winding road, so down through the national park… and the roads and ferry to and from wombat cave! However, I’ll reserve that until after GOR 2025 😉

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴

Definitely my husband and all his help and support! However in addition, VLC and all their guidance and supportive community who have made it so much fun. I really didn’t think I would ride outside my local area when I got the Vespa… now I have been all over the place … thanks Ryan and North Star (you know who you are).

𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 / 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱.

Oh so many!! Always look (point chin) in the direction you want to ride (avoid object fixation) … turn off your bike when reversing/backing up. Be confident, ride your lane and own it.

𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱

My Shoei helmet and integrated Sena and also the quad lock hardwired charger! So nice to get off the bike with the phone fully charged!

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗖𝗟 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

There are so many wonderful memories already! However, I will not forget the day, one of my first few rides, a few of us went for a local ride which is all I had done to that point. However, Ryan asked if anyone was in a rush… we all replied “No” so we just went riding and ended up in Wollongong!! I just couldn’t believe I had ridden my Vespa all the way to Wollongong. It was very exciting.

I also have to say the sunset ride home over the Kiama bridge was gorgeous!
