Tyres expand when hot, this also increases the pressure of the tyre.
If you check your pressure when hot, this will give you a false reading.

Riding on tyres that are not inflated correctly will cause
your bike to steer, stop and ride dangerously.
Incorrect pressures will also wear your tyres unevenly,
resulting in costly repairs having to replace tyres more often.

Unlike a car, scooter tyres need the pressures checked on a regular basis.
