𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.

Birdy’s Cafe in Budgewoi has been a regular monthly VCL ride over the past year. Their homemade brisket pies have become the highlight of the ride up north.

As winter approaches, it’s time for all the pie enthusiasts to start scouting—let’s find the next top pie spot to fuel our upcoming cold-weather rides!

It’s been a wonderful journey owning Birdy Cafe but it’s time to have a break and explore our next life chapter.

We thank Sarah for everything she has done for us. We couldn’t and wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else. Everyday was a laugh and lots of banter. We love her very much.

We thank every one of our wonderful customers. Many are lifelong friends now.

We will miss your smiles, stories and kind words. We are very proud of what we created.

It exceeded my expectations of running a little coffee van.

My heart is sad and it’s been a tough decision to make.
