If you're heading out for a ride, remember to keep an eye out for potholes, debris, and standing water on the roads. The recent stretch of heavy rain has left its mark, and it will take time for the roads to fully dry out.

Potholes are always a hazard, but when covered by water, they become even more dangerous — especially if you're not prepared for them.

Avoid riding in the curb lane during or after heavy rain. Gutters tend to fill quickly, and in some areas, water can cover the entire lane. This not only presents a risk to your safety but can also seriously affect your Vespa's engine.

There are many moving parts on your Vespa, riding through deep water can cause your engine to stall.
⚠️ Important: If your engine stops after going through water, do not try to restart it. Water inside the engine can cause serious damage.

Stay safe out there, and always stay alert to your surroundings when riding — especially after wet weather.
