After a full year of planning, preparation and anticipation, VCL is ready to take on our biggest ride yet.

Over the next 20 days, we will travel from Sydney to Melbourne, cross Bass Strait, and make our way to Tasmania, 12 days travelling a full lap of the island before returning home to Sydney.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 — 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

From coastal highways to alpine passes, from long open stretches to tight mountain twisties, Tasmania offers some of the most spectacular riding in Australia. Along the way we’ll explore historic towns, breathtaking lookouts, waterfalls, and the kind of scenery that makes you stop, remove your helmet, and simply take it all in.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞

Both rider and Vespa readiness have been front and centre to ensure everyone is prepared — mentally and physically — for this epic challenge.

Bikes have been serviced, tyres checked, fluids replaced, and pre-ride inspections completed. Gear has been reviewed, luggage refined, and weight balanced for long-distance touring.

Just as importantly, riders have prepared themselves for the endurance that comes with 20 consecutive days on the road — early starts, changing weather, mountain conditions and long kilometres.

This level of preparation isn’t just about performance — it’s about safety, teamwork and ensuring we ride as one cohesive group.

The journey south through Victoria will set the tone — camaraderie, coffee stops, fuel stops, and the shared experience that defines every VCL tour. Once across Bass Strait, the real magic begins: cool mountain air, endless corners, and the unmistakable feeling of freedom that only two wheels can deliver.
