The Lake Macquarie Recky Ride will be a 2 day ride with an over night stop in Belmont NSW.
After receiving feedback on ride destinations we have decided to add a sneaky overnight ride into the mix where we can recky some new roads & locations we have not travelled before.
We are in talks now with a few locations on discounted accommodation. For those interested please ensure to RSVP prior to 05/08/20.
Please note โ This ride will have us staying off all the major freeways, the ideal ride for anyone wanting to experience some nice riding, plenty of stops and scenery without going over 90klm.
We will be meeting up with other riders from the Newcastle area that will be showing us around Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas.

Saturday โ 22/08/20 1st Meeting point @ 8.30am 7 Eleven โ 400 Lane Cove Rd, North Ryde Map โ https://goo.gl/maps/bPEptjUMEuvcUYbJ8 Ride Brief โ 8.40am Depart โ 8.50am sharp
Day 1 โ (Saturday 22nd) . Heading north via Hornsby, Past Pie in the Sky along the Pacific hwy, Central Coast Hwy, The Entrance Rd, Central Coast Hwy.
12pm โ Bateau Bay McDonalds to meet up with Newcastle riders. They will then lead us to Nโcastle via Catherine Hill Bay to Belmont.
3pm โ Scenic cruise via Valentine, Warnerโs Bay, Honeysuckle Dr, city beaches. Maybe a cleansing refreshment somewhere along the way. Likely finish at Belmontโs Gunyah Hotel with its garden deck and sunset views over Lake Macquarie.
Day 2 (Sunday 23rd) we will take a ride around Lake Macquarie, Coal Point, Wangi Wangi, Wyee, Doyalson & back via Budgewoi towards home via the same the scenic roads taken to arrive.
